Canvasloop Publisher — Privacy Policy

What the extension does

Canvasloop Publisher pre-fills the Pinterest pin composer with content you already created in your Canvasloop account (image, title, description, tags and link). You always review and click Publish yourself — the extension never publishes on its own.

It also fetches Pinterest search suggestions from your session to improve your pin keywords ("keyword research"). This runs at most once per hour, only for topics from your own Canvasloop account, and can be turned off anytime in the extension's Settings.

Data the extension accesses

  • Your Canvasloop session cookie — used only to fetch your own pins from canvasloop.app. Never read from any other site, never transmitted anywhere else.
  • Your pin content (images, titles, descriptions, tags, links) — fetched from your Canvasloop account and inserted into the Pinterest composer on your screen.
  • Pinterest pages you open — the extension only runs on Pinterest's pin-creation pages, and only in tabs it opens for you or that you start a session on.
  • Pinterest search suggestions (keyword research, optional) — the extension asks Pinterest for autocomplete suggestions and search refinements for keywords already in your Canvasloop account, using your Pinterest session, and stores the suggestions in your Canvasloop account to improve your own pins. No pin content, boards, messages or personal data are read from Pinterest. Toggle it off in Settings → Keyword research.

What we do NOT do

  • No selling or sharing of data with third parties.
  • No analytics, tracking or advertising identifiers.
  • No browsing-history collection — the extension has no access outside pinterest.com and canvasloop.app.
  • No credentials stored: authentication is your existing Canvasloop login.

Storage

Settings (default board, quiet hours) and publish outcomes are stored locally in your browser via Chrome's extension storage. Publish results are written back to your own Canvasloop account so your calendar stays accurate.
